Maine Art Educator of the Year 2027

We are delighted to recognize Heidi O’Donnell of Belfast Area High School as the MAEA Maine Art Educator of the Year!

Heidi's creativity, humor, commitment, and unwavering support foster countless students who leave her classroom with a lifelong appreciation of the arts. Heidi will address us at the Fall Conference in Haystack and at the YAM ceremony at the Portland Museum of Art next March. She will also be recognized at the 2027 NAEA Convention in New York next spring. Congratulations, Heidi!
