MAEA Fall 2026 Membership exhibit

“Making Time”

Exhibition will be on the 2nd Floor of the Lithgow Public Library,

Dates: November 21 - January 8

Opening Reception: Monday the 23rd from 5-7

Drop-off:
Friday, November, 13, 3:00–5:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 14, 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Pick up:
Friday, January 8 3:00–5:00 p.m
Saturday, January 9th 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

(Any work not picked up or previously arranged will be able to be picked up in Westbrook and/or brought to the Spring Conference

We can only accept one piece per participant at this time. All framed works must be wired or have a sawtooth hanger on the back. Each piece should also be clearly labeled with:

MAEA Winter-Spring 2026 Exhibit
at the Saco Museum

“Cultivating Creativity: Works by Art Educators”

The Saco Museum once again hosted an engaging exhibit of works by Maine art educators. “Cultivating Creativity: Works by Art Educators” was on display from February 7th through March 27th and featured 61 artworks created by teachers from all over Maine. The show included paintings, woven art, prints, ceramics, mixed media, felted pieces, as well as several artists' sketchbooks. Diane Noble, curator of this exhibit, and a group of retired MAEA members installed the show. Special thanks to Diane, her helpers Piper Bolduc and Debra DiGregorio, and Saco Museum Director Tara Raiselis. And enormous thanks to exhibit coordinator Jodi Thomas!
