To honor the immense artistic talents of our Maine art educators, the MAEA hosts at least two member exhibits a year. We are grateful to partner with outstanding Maine organizations and businesses to make these events come to life. Don’t miss these chances to showcase your recent work!

We celebrated our fall exhibitors at Maine College of Art & Design, where a record 50 artworks were on display in the Congress Street gallery. Planning for our Winter Exhibit at the Saco Museum is already underway. We are hoping to set up some satellite drop-off locations so more of you can participate. The reception will be Saturday, February 7 and the exhibit will run through Friday, March 27. Check back soon for more details and the registration link! 2025 Fall Exhibit: Stretch/Grow
Maine College of Art & Design, Portland

Our “Stretch/Grow” exhibit was open to all MAEA members! The opening reception was First Friday, November 7th, and the show ran through November 14th.

Exhibit dates: October 29 - November 14

Opening Reception: Fri November 7 from 5-7pm

Drop-off: Free Street Entrance to MECA&D
Wednesday, October 22nd from 3–6pm
Saturday, October 25th from 11am–1:00pm

Pick up: Free Street Entrance to MECA&D
Friday, November 14th from 3–6pm
Saturday, November 15th from 11am–1:00pm

We can only accept one piece per participant at this time.

Requirements: All framed works must be wired or have a sawtooth hanger on the back.

Each piece should also be clearly labeled with:

• Artist’s Name
• School
• Title of work
• Price
