YAM AT MEA in AUGUSTA

The YAM exhibit of student artworks is on display at the office of the Maine Education Association in Augusta! Every fall, the MEA provides art teachers the opportunity to submit one piece of student art to be professionally framed and put on display. MAEA members nominate the student artists and curate the show, and the MEA generously coordinates the custom framing and hosts the exhibition. The opening celebration on March 15th was hosted by MEA President Jesse Hargrove, who recognized each artist with a certificate as well as note cards featuring their beautiful images.

See it for yourself! The exhibit is available to see during regular office hours through November.
