MAEA and the Portland Museum of Art teamed up once again to showcase the incredible talent in Maine’s art education programs and in the young artists in our communities.

Registration was open from January 6 – February 10th, 2025
Registration is open to active MAEA educators only.
Maine Art Education Association members can select one student artwork annually for this exhibition.

Artwork Drop Off:
February 13, 3–5 p.m.
February 14, 3–5 p.m.
February 15, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
Artwork Pick Up:
April 3, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
April 4, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Any artwork left at the PMA after April 4 will be given to Elise Pelletier at Portland High School. You can arrange your pick-up with Elise Pelletier.

All artists, educators, and their families are invited to the Youth Art Month celebration in-person.

Free admission for Youth Art Month participants, their families, and teachers.
Please note: galleries will close at 6:30 p.m.

We will hold three celebration events for the YAM artists.
