YAM At Portland Museum of art

Registration Open!

MAEA and the Portland Museum of Art are teaming up once again in March 2026 to showcase the incredible talent in Maine’s art education programs and in the young artists in our communities.

Artwork Submission Window: January 7 - February 8, 2026

We will be in need of volunteers to help with drop off/pick-up and also provide satellite location for work to accommodate members from further away so their students can participate. If you are willing to volunteer, please reach out to our MAEA YAM Chair Alex Taraschi or PMA Coordinator Meghan Quigley-Graham.

To submit student work, you must be a current member of MAEA. To check your membership status, email Membership Chair Hope Lord before completing the online registration.

Drop-Off Dates

All drop-offs take place at the PMA Loading Dock, 99 Spring Street, Portland, ME 04101.

Thursday, February 12 (2:00–5:00pm)
Friday, February 13, (2:00–5:00pm)
Saturday, February 14, (10:00am–1:00pm)
Snow Date (if needed): Wednesday, February 18, (11am–2pm)

PICK-UP DATES

All pick-ups also take place at the PMA Loading Dock, 99 Spring Street, Portland, ME 04101.

Visitors arriving at the museum’s front door will be directed to the loading dock entrance.

Thursday, April 9, (2:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.)
Friday, April 10, (2:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.)

Any artwork left after April 10 will be given to Alex Taraschi at Casco Bay High School. To arrange pick-up, email tarasa@portlandschools.org.
