Readfield Community Library 2025
The Readfield Community Library celebrated Youth Art Month by showcasing artworks by Readfield Elementary students. First graders painted watercolor scenes based on the picture book “Over and Under the Snow” by Kate Messner. After reading the book together, they talked about hibernating animals and created their own paintings based on what they had learned. The exhibit also featured stained-glass style watercolor hearts by Readfield third graders. The artworks have been delighting the visitors of the Story Walk behind the library for all of March.
Stained Glass Express 2025
The Stained Glass Express in Manchester celebrated Youth Art Month with an exhibit of student mosaics. students from Gilbert, Wayne, Readfield, and Mt. Vernon Elementary Schools as well as Waterville High School were invited to participate. Visit the Stained Glass Express Store to see the beautiful, colorful creations.
