2026 Fall Conference

‘The Shape of Here’

Friday, Sept. 25 - Sunday, Sept. 27

Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Deer Isle

2026 Fall Conference Co-Chairs: Nat Shacklett & Charlotte Caron

The quiet grounds of Deer Isle bustle with aliveness. Ear to the earth, a rebirth resounds through the spruce and the fir. To be here is to be both embraced by our wooded kin and released to the pulse of the waters that take the shape of your latest inspiration. Join us in tracing the slopes of the horizon, getting lost in the dizzying complexities of a tuft of moss, and making art at the place perched on the edge of the sea.

July 1 - $125

August 1 - $125

A deposit or full payment on June 1st is required to complete your registration. Completed registration forms without payment may not be able to be honored.

As in past years, participants in off campus housing at Haystack have a reduced rate. This year the reduced rate is $300.
